From 3 hours a day to 10 minutes at a century-old manufacturer
A manufacturer with 125 years of history spent three hours a day reconciling invoices and checking payments in and out by hand. We automated the entire process, and now it's ten minutes, plus a control sheet someone reviews.
From 3 hours a day to 10 minutes, plus the control sheet.
The problem
Three hours every day reconciling invoices and checking payments in and out, by hand, invoice by invoice. Every single day. At a company that's spent 125 years doing something else very well.
What we built
Customer and supplier invoicing automated end to end: reading, recording in the ERP and payment reminders. With a control sheet for a person to review, not type into. In parallel, we're building their SEO and SEM assistant team.
How we did it
We timed how long it really took to reconcile a full day of invoices. It came out at three hours. Without that number, we wouldn't have known if we were actually improving anything.
We connected the supplier inbox to the ERP so invoices get read and recorded on their own, with nobody typing anything in.
We built the control sheet: instead of typing things in, a person reviews what the system has done and only touches what's flagged as doubtful.
We automated the payment reminders and started building their SEO and SEM agent team, with the same approach.
The result
- From 3 hours a day to 10 minutes, plus the control sheet
- Hundreds of invoices recorded with no typing
- Payment reminders go out without anyone remembering
