A food distributor checked every order three times, across three separate spreadsheets. We built the system that cross-checks all three on its own and adds the customer payment. It caught €2,362 in factory price mismatches that had gone unnoticed for months.

The problem
Every order got checked three times: the factory shipment, the supplier's PDF invoice, and a month later the freight invoice. Nobody saw the whole order until the three pieces lined up by hand. And the real profit per unit, never.
What we built
Shipment tracking, payment reconciliation and real profit tracking. It cross-checks the three data points on its own and adds the customer payment as soon as it lands. Plus a stock-level alert.
How we did it
We followed one order from start to finish, from leaving the factory to being paid, noting every time someone typed the same figure in twice.
We built the system in shadow mode: it read the data without touching anything, and for weeks we compared its output against the team's to see where it slipped up.
Once the cross-check was reliable, we switched it on: factory, supplier and freight cross-check each other automatically, and the customer payment gets added the moment it lands.
We added the mismatch alert, which is what surfaced the €2,362 in factory price differences nobody had spotted.
